Robert Bilkevic

Robert Bilkevic has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Robert is currently serving as the Data Science & Engineering Team Lead at OAG since February 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Lead Data Scientist at the same company from May 2021 to February 2022. From August 2019 to May 2021, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at OAG.

Before joining OAG, Robert worked at Inawisdom as a Senior Data Scientist for a short period from April 2019 to July 2019. At Inawisdom, they co-developed classification models for credit risk calculations and prepared an upskilling framework for internal Data Scientists. Robert also deployed production-ready credit risk models using AWS Sagemaker, S3, and EC2.

From December 2018 to March 2019, Robert worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Nested.com. Here, they developed predictive models for customer-facing products and researched property scoring methodologies for the London property market. Robert also built a prototype for property image processing.

Prior to Nested.com, Robert gained experience at KPMG, where they served as an Assistant Manager in Financial Crime Data Analytics from April 2018 to December 2018. Robert was involved in AML/TM model validation, automated data quality checks, and SQL lead responsibilities. Robert also worked as an Analyst in Financial Crime Data Analytics at KPMG from May 2017 to April 2018. In this role, they developed methodologies and processors for testing Sanctions Screening systems and conducted effectiveness tests.

Robert started their career as a Junior Data Scientist at Grove Capital Management from November 2015 to March 2017. Here, they built machine learning models for customer classification and pricing asset portfolios. Robert also developed ETL processes and owned financial reporting for collections. At Vodafone, they worked as a Financial Analyst from September 2014 to November 2015.

Additionally, Robert worked as a Freelancer Analyst at Euromonitor International from October 2012 to August 2014 and as an Analyst at Colliers-International from June 2012 to January 2013.

Robert Bilkevic completed their education with a Master's Degree in Finance and Econometrics from Queen Mary University of London in 2014, after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Econometrics from Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University in 2013. Prior to their college education, they completed their secondary education at the Gymnasium of John Paul II. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, passed the CFA Level I from the CFA Institute in 2015, and obtained the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) certification from the British Council in 2009.
