Sonja Renander

Sonja Renander has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sonja most recently worked at Oak Hill Advisors, L.P. as a Managing Director, U.S. Credit starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Bridgewater Associates, including Head of Solutions Management and Office of the CAO as the Head of Strategy and Transformation. Sonja also served as the Head of Program Evaluation, Strategy, and Assessment in the Core Management team and Co-Head for Client Relationship Management in Client Service. Before Bridgewater Associates, Sonja worked at The World Bank as a Senior Advisor and Acting Alternate U.S. Executive Director from 2009 to 2011. Sonja also had roles at the US Treasury as a Senior Advisor and International Economist starting in 2003.

Sonja Renander holds a Master's of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) degree from Georgetown University, which they obtained in 2003. Their field of study during their time at Georgetown was International Finance and Commerce. Before attending Georgetown, Sonja completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at St. Olaf College in 1999. Their field of study at St. Olaf College was Political Science and French.
