Abigail Koning

Abigail Koning is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in evaluating and treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs. Currently employed at Oak-Leyden Developmental Services, Inc. since September 2018, Abigail previously worked at BY YOUR SIDE-Autism Therapy Services, where collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and parents to set developmental goals was a key aspect of the role. Abigail's clinical experience includes Level II fieldwork at HCR ManorCare and Shining Star Therapy, as well as various Level I fieldwork placements. Abigail holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Spanish from Hope College.
