Caroline Nugent

Caroline Nugent is an experienced educator and yoga teacher with a diverse background in teaching and leadership. Currently serving as a Subject and Pedagogy Reviewer at Oak National Academy since September 2023, Caroline has also been a Yoga Teacher at Yoga Essence since January 2018, conducting classes for various levels and ages. Previously, Caroline held the positions of Head of Year and Head of English at Eaton Square Schools from September 2015 to August 2020, and managed a team while overseeing the Year 6 curriculum. Caroline contributed as a Teacher and Key Phase Leader at Ashmount Primary School from September 2010 to August 2015, leading a team of six teachers and implementing key policies. Early career experience includes teaching English as a foreign language and delivering outreach programs at The British Council from January 2006 to July 2009. Caroline holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Teaching English to Young Learners from the University of York and a 500 Hr Diploma in Yoga Teaching from the British Wheel of Yoga.
