David Nelson

David Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. From 2019 to the present, they have been the Vice President of Property Management at Oak River Farms, where they manage and develops farm, pasture, and timber/recreational assets. Prior to this, they worked as a licensed real estate agent at Nebraska Realty since 2015. David also has experience as the President of Nelson Ventures, Inc. and as a Certified Wildlife Biologist/Project Manager at Alfred Benesch & Company. Additionally, they held positions such as the Youth Fishing Program Manager at D&K Holdings Inc., Manager of Cabela's Trophy Properties, and Vice President of Conservation and Recreation Services at Farmers National Company. Before that, they were the President/CEO of Natural Habitats Unlimited Inc., where they provided recreational property management, habitat development, and fisheries management services.

David Nelson earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture/Natural Resources from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1993. David also has additional certifications including Certified Wildlife Biologist from The Wildlife Society in 2018, NEPA Biological Evaluation Training from the Nebraska Dept Of Transportation in 2017, Certified Floating Island Master from Floating Island International, Inc. in 2017, and Licensed Real Estate Salesperson from the Nebraska Real Estate Commission in 2007.
