K. Deneen Bennett has extensive work experience in various roles related to talent management, organizational development, coaching, and human resources. K. Deneen is currently the SVP of People & Culture - Talent Management & Organizational Development at Oak View Group, where they are responsible for talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, and internship program development. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of People & Culture - Talent Management & Organizational Development at the same company.

In addition, K. Deneen Bennett is also a Chief Member at Chief, a private network aimed at supporting senior women leaders. K. Deneen has been working with Chief since December 2021.

Before their current roles, K. Deneen Bennett was the CEO and Owner of KDB Couture Consulting, LLC, where they provided Co-Active Coaching and consulting services for L&D/OD and HR needs in both non-profit and for-profit organizations. K. Deneen also created customized training content, assisted organizations on their DEI journeys, and aligned their strategies with their goals.

K. Deneen Bennett, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CPCC, CF-L1 (She/Her), has a diverse education history. K. Deneen obtained a Certificate in Employment Law from Cornell University in 2023. In 2017, they completed the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) program and earned their CPCC (Co-Active Coach Certification). In 2012, they gained a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership from Manhattanville College. Furthermore, they acquired multiple certificates from Cornell University, including Business Leadership Skills, Executive Leadership, and Change Leadership in 2009. In 2007, they became a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Villanova University. K. Deneen holds an M.S. in Leadership & Strategic Development from Manhattanville College, obtained from 2003 to 2005. K. Deneen pursued further studies at The University of Georgia, where they obtained an MA (A.B.D.) in Latin from 1989 to 1992. Their undergraduate education includes a B.A. in Ancient History from Columbia University, which they achieved from 1983 to 1987. Additionally, Bennett holds several additional certifications, such as being a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer and completing Empathy Training in 2023. K. Deneen is certified as an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) by the HR Certification Institute since 2011 and obtained the SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) designation from SHRM in 2015. In 1997, they completed the Myers Briggs Type Indicator certification, and they received a certificate in 15Five Best-Self Management from the 15Five Best-Self Academy.
