Sumanth Tummala

Sumanth Tummala has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering. Sumanth is currently employed as the Lead Data Engineer at Oakbrook since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at SHODHANA LIMITED from April 2021 to July 2021. Sumanth also served as a Senior Big Data Engineer at Nasim Consulting Ltd from February 2020 to March 2021.

Before joining Nasim Consulting Ltd, Sumanth worked at IBM for several years. Sumanth held the position of Lead Data Engineer from March 2018 to February 2020 and previously worked as a Data Engineer from January 2015 to February 2018.

Sumanth began their career as a Software Engineer at PointCross in March 2013 and worked there until January 2015. Overall, they have gained significant experience and expertise in the field of data engineering through their various roles in different organizations.

Sumanth Tummala began their education at Gowtham English Medium School in Vijayawada, where they completed their SSC degree from 1995 to 2006. Sumanth then attended Nalanda Junior College from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained their Intermediate Education in MPC (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry). Following that, Sumanth enrolled at DVR & Dr. HS MIC College of Technology from 2008 to 2012 and graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Sumanth has also obtained several certifications. Sumanth completed the following certifications: Docker Essentials: A Developer Introduction from IBM in 2019, IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service from IBM in 2019, Scala Programming for Data Science - Level 1 from IBM in 2018, and Spark - Level 1 from IBM in 2018. Furthermore, Sumanth is currently pursuing the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft, to be obtained in March 2023. Finally, Sumanth has also obtained the IBM Agile Explorer certification, though the specific year and month are unknown.
