Rob Oakland serves as the Commercial Director at Oakland | B Corp, where expertise in data analytics, process management, and governance is applied to help global organizations maximize data value. A founding member of the Oakland Institute for Business Research and Education, Rob has contributed to its international reputation in quality management and business improvement through extensive research and partnerships. Additionally, as a Partner at both Oakland Data and Analytics and in various assignments across Europe, Asia, and the USA, Rob focuses on accelerating organizational change and solving complex data-related challenges. Previous roles include Industrial Contract Manager at the Institute of Medical & Biological Engineering and Programme Manager at The Faraday Partnership, emphasizing innovation in medical devices and collaborative consumer product development. Rob holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Leeds and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering with Business & Management from Alliance Manchester Business School.
