Rachel Sher

Rachel Sher is an experienced librarian currently serving as the Eden Area Libraries Manager and Albany Library Manager at Alameda County Library since February 2019. In addition to these roles, Rachel has been a Senior L.A. and Tool Library Manager at Oakland Public Library since April 2015. Prior experience includes serving as a Systems Librarian at Innovative Interfaces from November 2011 to January 2015 and as a Librarian at San Francisco University High School from August 2007 to November 2011. Rachel holds a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University (2007-2011), a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from California College of the Arts (1999-2001), and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts from Tufts University (1994-1998).
