Leslye Salinas

Leslye Salinas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community management and education support. As the Founder of La Casa de Jenny since June 2023, Salinas has focused on aiding recently migrated individuals in achieving self-sufficiency through navigation and case management services. Currently serving as the Community Schools Manager for the Oakland Unified School District since July 2021, Salinas has previously held roles including Business Manager and Office Manager at Roses in Concrete Community School from June 2015 to June 2021, and Data and Compliance Analyst at Aspire Public Schools. Earlier in the career, Salinas worked as an Administrative Assistant at American Indian Public Charter School and as an intern at Think College Now. Salinas holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
