Angela Tsay

Angela Tsay has a strong background in various roles within the retail and technology industries. Angela has held positions such as Owner at BOSK and Oakland Supply Co. In 1999, they joined zZounds.com as the Chief Operating Officer and successfully managed day-to-day operations while increasing sales and margins. Angela also served as the Director of Operations at Mixonic, overseeing inventory, manufacturing, production, and distribution. Angela has experience in project management and functional lead roles, demonstrated by their work at Harmony Central and University of Chicago as an Oracle Applications Functional Lead/Project Manager and Research Assistant, respectively. Angela's most recent roles include CEO & Creative Director at Never Elsewhere and Oaklandish, both lifestyle apparel brands focusing on community connection and civic pride.

Angela Tsay pursued their education in sociology, specializing in the field throughout their academic journey. Angela first attended the University of Chicago from 1989 to 1993, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology. Following this, Angela enrolled at Princeton University from 1994 to 1997, earning their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology. Angela'seducational pursuits continued, and from 1996 to 1999, they returned to the University of Chicago for their Ph.D. program in Sociology.
