Safoora Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Safoora began their career as a Mental Health Support Specialist at Council on Aging Southern California in 2013. Following that, they worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy from 2011 to 2015. In 2013, they also served as a Youth Case Coordinator at Build Futures. Safoora then transitioned into the healthcare sector, working as an Assistant Administrator at Flagship Healthcare Center from 2015 to 2020. After that, they joined Silverado as an Administrator until 2022. Currently, Safoora holds the position of Regional Operations Specialist at Oakmont Senior Living, starting in 2022. In 2009, they gained research experience as a Research Intern at UCI Dermatology Lab. Throughout their career, Safoora has acquired a range of skills and knowledge in healthcare administration, mental health support, and pharmaceuticals.
Safoora Ahmed has a diverse education history. Safoora obtained a Doctorate of Public Health in Health Policy and Leadership from Loma Linda University, with completion anticipated in 2022. Prior to this, they pursued a Master's degree in Health Administration with a focus on Management and Leadership at the University of La Verne, earning their degree in 2015. Safoora started their academic journey at Chapman University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Biology, completing their undergraduate studies in 2014.
In addition to their formal education, Safoora has also obtained two certifications. In 2010, they acquired a Pharmacy Technician certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Furthermore, in 2015, they obtained an RCFE Administrator License from the Department of Social Services (DSS).
