Peter Popoola

Peter Popoola currently holds the positions of Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Technology Officer at Oaks Intelligence since April 2023. With extensive experience in academia, Peter has been associated with the University of KwaZulu-Natal since February 2015 as a Lecturer, Post-Graduate Student, Tutor for Computer Science courses, and Graduate Teaching Assistant for Optimization and Modelling. Previous roles include freelancing at oDesk, and serving as a Computer Instructor at Harrisoft Technologies and karROX Technologies Ltd. Peter's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Jos, a Master's Degree focused on Discrete Particle Swarm Optimization from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and participation in the EURO PhD School on Matheuristics and Operations Research at the University of South Brittany.
