Muriel Jedlicka

Mrs. Muriel Jedlicka has served as the Admissions Director for Oakwood since 1996 and is the initial point of contact for all prospective families. Muriel first joined the Oakwood staff in 1988 as a classroom teacher bringing with her several years of teaching experience in both public and private education. Mrs. Jedlicka received a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Florida State University and a master’s degree in Special Education from the University of North Florida. She currently holds a post-graduate Professional License issued by the Virginia Department of Education in the areas of Specific Learning Disabilities (K-12), Intellectual Disabilities (K-12), and Supervisor of Special Education (PreK-12).
