Abishek Ganesh has worked in the tech industry since 2016. In 2016, they were a Software Developer at Persistent Systems where they upgraded the client's legacy system to the latest technology to improve the response time by 70%. Abishek then led an initiative to automate testing, resulting in shorter development cycles and identified key bottlenecks in the client's system and recommended solutions to improve performance.

In 2017, Abishek Ganesh worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business. During this time, they worked on multiple research studies in statistical modeling and data analysis and ran behavioral experiments. Abishek also worked on data wrangling operations for the data generated from experiments for analysis using Python and R, and evaluated homework, tests, and held office hours to ensure students understood course concepts.

In 2019, Abishek Ganesh worked as a Cloud Support Engineer - Big Data at Amazon. During this time, they worked on the latest released features with AWS - EMR / AWS Glue / Athena / DynamoDB / Managed Airflow, helped customers to design and create architectures for ETL based on Cloud infrastructure, and provided unique solutions based on customers' needs. Abishek also developed an internal project to improve overall team performance and worked with various internal teams on escalations and crisis management.

Currently, Abishek Ganesh is a Big Data Architect at Squadron Data, Inc. where they are working on HDP - CDP Migration, resolving various issues generated during migration in Hive / Spark, and working on a POC tool to tune Hive performance.

Abishek Ganesh has a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from The University of Texas at Arlington which they obtained in 2018. Abishek also has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from SIES Graduate School of Technology which they obtained in 2015. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including a Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 - Python from Databricks in 2021, a Databricks Certified Spark Developer 2.X Python from Databricks in 2018, a Network Analysis in Python and Network Analysis in Python Part 2 from DataCamp in 2017, and an AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021.
