Dominik Kubis

Dominik Kubis has a strong background in software engineering and development. Dominik is currently working at OANDA as a Software Engineering Team Lead, leading a team responsible for building a unified trading platform for customers. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at OANDA.

Before joining OANDA, Dominik worked at Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd as a Senior Game Developer, where they were involved in the development and maintenance of multiple games. During their time there, they successfully developed and shipped eight titles. Prior to this role, they worked as a JavaScript Game Developer at Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd.

Dominik also has experience working as a Software Developer at Grand Parade, where they implemented frontend layers for blogs and online casino applications. Dominik was part of the NYX Team and worked on various tasks including implementing new features and maintaining core components.

Before Grand Parade, Dominik worked as a Front-end Developer at PromoAgency, where they developed custom themes for WordPress and implemented various marketing campaigns. Dominik also gained early experience as a Junior Programmer at Control Process IT.

Dominik Kubis earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Krakow University of Economics, which they attended from 2014 to 2017. Dominik then attended Game Dev School in 2017-2018, focusing on Game and Interactive Media Design. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner in 2019, Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) in 2018, Front-End Developer in 2017, and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate in 2020.
