Andrei David

Andrei David has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andrei is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Oazo Apps since August 2022. Prior to this, they were an Angel Investor in the Atomico Angel Program, investing in early-stage startups in Europe with a focus on Enterprise Data & Automation, Developer Tools, and Internet Infrastructure, starting from November 2022.

From November 2020 to February 2022, Andrei worked as a Global Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Before that, they served as the Head of Engineering at Founders Factory from October 2018 to November 2020. Founders Factory is a multi-sector accelerator and incubator based in London.

Andrei has also been involved in the founding and management of multiple companies. Andrei co-founded Contextual in December 2015 and served as the Co-founder & CTO until November 2020. Contextual is a location-based customer experience and engagement platform. Before that, they were the Founder of Sursa Soft from March 2004 to November 2010.

In the gaming industry, Andrei worked at Electronic Arts as a Technical Director from November 2010 to September 2015. Andrei also held roles at Gaming Animation Technology Ltd., where they served as a Lead Programmer from July 2005 to September 2008, and later as a Technical Director from September 2008 to September 2010.

Andrei David completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer and Systems Engineering at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera and Why Trust Matters with Rachel Botsman from LinkedIn in June 2022.
