Johnny Ngan

Johnny Ngan has worked in the software engineering industry since 2005. Johnny began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Amazon in 2005. In 2006, they joined Symantec as a Principal Software Engineer, where they researched on product ideas and developed prototypes. In 2008, they moved to Google as a Software Engineer. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at Jump Trading LLC, first as a Non-Compete and then as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Sr. Software Engineer at Oasis Labs.

Johnny Ngan has achieved a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Rice University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Rice University, a Master of Philosophy in Computer Science from The University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from The University of Hong Kong. Additionally, they hold a J.Test level F certification from the Japanese Language Testing Association/J.TEST Japanese Affairs Bureau.
