Mike McElwain

As Sr. Vice President of Business Development at Oasis Systems, Michael is responsible for leading the company through the identification, capture, and award of new business pursuits. He has over thirty-five years of Department of Defense acquisition experience covering Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation of critical weapon systems with strong emphasis across the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Test Center, Air Force Research Laboratory, and the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center.

During Michael’s tenure, Oasis has achieved strong growth from 70 employees and $17M in annual revenue to nearly 1,500 employees and annual revenue nearly $400M in 2019. Michael joined Oasis in March 2006 following 16 years with Northrop Grumman Corporation where he was ultimately responsible for all of the corporation’s Electronic Systems Sector business development at Hanscom AFB valued at over $1B.

Michael has held numerous officer and board of director positions with industry associations and is Past-President of the Lexington-Concord Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) and Past-President of the Patriots’ Roost Chapter of the Association of Old Crows (AOC). Michael works out of the Burlington, MA headquarters office.
