Cameron Barnes

Cameron Barnes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and educational initiatives, currently serving as a Senior Associate at the Obama Foundation's My Brother’s Keeper Alliance. Since February 2022, Cameron has focused on enhancing outcomes for Boys and Young Men of Color through collaboration with stakeholders and managing MBK Action Team convenings across Chicago. Previously, Cameron held various roles at Urban Prep Academies from March 2015 to February 2022, including Director of Admissions and Community Programs, where responsibilities included student recruitment and strategic marketing initiatives. Cameron's early career includes experience in football operations with the Los Angeles Rams and equipment management at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, alongside a background in broadcast journalism from the same institution, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in 2014.
