Jihad D. Dixon

Jihad D. Dixon, M.A. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, operations, and public engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Associate for Strategy & Operations at the Obama Foundation since January 2022, Jihad previously held the role of Communications Associate at the Institute for Higher Education Policy and served as Commissioner for the Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs under the State of West Virginia. Jihad's career at West Virginia University includes various roles such as Program Coordinator for New Student Orientation and Graduate Assistant in the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Additionally, Jihad gained valuable experience through positions at Marriott International and AmeriCorps. Jihad holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from West Virginia University.
