Director Of Business Diversity And Workforce Development at Obama Foundation

Tammi Davis has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business diversity, workforce development, and supplier diversity. Tammi is currently working as the Director of Business Diversity and Workforce Development at the Obama Foundation. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Supplier and Workforce Diversity at the same organization.

Tammi also has experience as a Principal Consultant at The Compliance Consultants, where they developed and implemented supplier diversity programs and change management initiatives. Tammi also created the MBE/WBE Program for the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority.

Tammi served as the Director of Compliance and Policy Engagement at the Gary Sanitary District, where they led policy, advocacy, and public engagement initiatives. Tammi also built and managed the Supplier Diversity program.

Additionally, Tammi has held positions as a political candidate for the IN House of Representatives, Director of Economic Development at Chicago United, Director of Compliance/Chief of Operations at Trinal, Inc., and Member of the State Central Committee at the Indiana Democratic Party.

Tammi's earlier experiences include serving as a Compliance Consultant for the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority, President of the Gary, Indiana Branch of the NAACP, and Compliance Officer for the City of Gary/Gary Sanitary District. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and economic development in various organizations and sectors.

Tammi Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Jackson State University, attending from 1989 to 1993. Tammi later obtained a Master's Degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University Northwest, completing their studies between 2000 and 2003. In addition to their degrees, Tammi has obtained several certifications including being a Master Compliance Administrator from the American Contract Compliance Association in 2007, an Affirmative Action Professional from the American Association for Affirmative Action in 2002, and a Certified Compliance Administrator from the American Contract Compliance Association in 2002.
