Kurt Bauer

Kurt Bauer has had extensive work experience in the transportation and consulting industries. Kurt began their career at Accenture as a Controlling Specialist. Kurt then moved on to Railistics GmbH, where they worked as a Senior Project Manager for seven years. After that, they joined Deutsche Bahn as a Senior Project Manager and later became the Head of Department for Strategy and Processes. Bauer then transitioned to ÖBB, where they held various leadership positions, including Head of Strategy for Passenger and Freight Services and Head of Long Distance Passenger Services and New Rail Business.

Kurt Bauer completed their educational journey through various institutions. Starting in 1996, they attended Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in International Business. This program lasted for four years, ending in 2000. As part of this degree, they also studied at Aston University in 1998 and 1999, focusing on International Business.

Later on, in 2003, Kurt enrolled at Imperial College London to further expand their knowledge in the field of Transport Engineering. Kurt successfully completed the Master of Science program in 2004, obtaining their degree in this specialized field.
