Andy Slote

Andy Slote has over 30 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Andy began their career as a System Analyst at AT&T in 1988, and was subsequently promoted to Senior System Analyst, IT Manager, Program Manager, and IT Division Manager. In 1993, they left AT&T to join Excel Telecommunications as a Program Manager. Andy was then promoted to Information Technology Director in 1999. In 2000, they joined OneSource Communications as General Manager, where they reduced external funding required by 75%. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Consultant for Effectivate LLC, advising an early-stage robotics motion system company and leading Tech Titans Internet of Things Forum Committee IoT Business Showcase trade show. In 2019, they joined ObjectSpectrum, LLC as Director of Customer Success. Since 2020, they have been a Mentor for The DEC Network, and in 2019 and 2022, they served as Internet of Things Forum Tri-Chair and Industry 4.0 Forum Tri-Chair, respectively, for Tech Titans.

Andy Slote attended State University of New York College at Oswego from 1981 to 1982, where they studied undeclared. Andy then transferred to Clarkson University, where they completed a BS in Computer Science between 1982 and 1985.
