Stephen Kirkwood

Stephen Kirkwood has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 1999, they started working as an Associate General Counsel at Peachtree Financial Solutions and held that position until 2011. Stephen then joined JGWPT Holdings, LLC as a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for a year. In 2012, Kirkwood joined The J.G. Wentworth Company as an Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer where they played a key role in taking the company public, acquiring new business units, and restructuring the organization. Stephen worked at The J.G. Wentworth Company until 2018. In 2019, Kirkwood took on the role of General Counsel at Magna Life Settlements and Senior Managing Director, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Vida Capital, where they currently lead the legal and compliance functions.

Stephen Kirkwood attended Albany Law School from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a JD degree in Law. Additionally, during the same period, they also earned a BS degree in Psychology and Biology from Albany Law School.
