Kotaro Umeda

Kotaro Umeda is a professional athlete and midfielder currently playing in the Hong Kong Premier League for the Hong Kong Football Association since January 2024. Umeda has an extensive background in soccer, having played for various teams including the National Independent Soccer Association and South Georgia Tormenta FC. In addition to athletic pursuits, Umeda is also a book author, with all proceeds from published work supporting United Way of Cleveland. As a language tutor on the Preply platform, Umeda teaches English, Japanese, and Portuguese. Educational pursuits continue at the University of Louisville, where studies are ongoing until August 2024.
