Mie Marie Wærens

Mie Marie Wærens has a diverse work experience. Mie Marie currently holds the position of Associate Director of Financial Modeling & Budgeting at Obton, which they started in March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Obton as a Manager of Financial Modeling & Budgeting starting in August 2020. Before joining Obton, Mie Marie worked at BDO Danmark as a Revisor from September 2016 to August 2020, and as a Revisor trainee from September 2014 to August 2016. Mie Marie also has experience as a HA-studerende at Syddansk Universitet from September 2011 to September 2014, and as an Instruktør i faget statistik at the University of Southern Denmark from April 2013 to June 2013. Additionally, Mie Marie served as a Buddy for elitesportsudøvere at Syddansk Elite, Syddansk Universitet from September 2011 to June 2013, providing support and assistance to elite athletes in their academic pursuits. Mie Marie started their professional career as a Berider elev at Kolding Rideklub from August 2009 to July 2011.

Mie Marie Wærens completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Syddansk Universitet - the University of Southern Denmark, with a focus on Business and Economics Administration. Mie Marie attended this institution from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Frederikshavn Gymnasium og HF-kurses from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Naturvidenskabelig Student degree, with coursework in Mathematics A, Physics A, and Astronomi C. Currently, Mie Marie Wærens is pursuing a Cand.merc in management accounting and control at Aarhus University, starting in 2017.
