Britney Lucas has extensive experience in the field of acquisition and administrative support. Britney began their career in 2009 as an Administrative Clerk for the Federal Internship program at the U.S. Department of State. Britney provided executive-level administrative support to the Office of Inspector General, scheduling and coordinating corporate meetings and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as an Administrator/Office Management Contractor for Miracle Systems LLC at the U.S. Department of State, where they managed multiple leased annex facilities and handled service requests. Britney then worked as an Administrative Coordinator Contractor for Data Solutions Technology Inc. at the U.S. Department of Commerce, supporting the National Geodetic Survey Division Chiefs with travel planning and time and attendance validation. In 2013, they were an Administrative Support Contractor for PSA, Inc. at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, acting as a liaison to the Office of Procurement and managing calendars and conference coordination. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Acquisition Specialist for EverWatch Solutions at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, where they engaged in requirement development and research for specialized supplies and services. Britney also collaborated with program analysts to validate data and make recommendations. From 2017 to 2018, they held two positions at DISA, first as an Acquisition Specialist Full-time for Itility LLC, focusing on procuring service contracts and implementing process improvements. Britney then worked as an Acquisition Specialist/Customer Account Manager Full-time for FCI, managing requirements documentation and service orders for Mobile Satellite Services. Britney Lucas attended the University of Maryland Global Campus and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Management and Operations, in 2021. In addition to their degree, they obtained two certifications from the Defense Acquisition University: Services Acquisition (CLC 013) in April 2018, and Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management (ACQ 101) in December 2017.
