John Bryant

John Bryant has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. John most recently worked as a z/OS Expert Systems Programmer at OBXtek and the Social Security Administration starting in 2014. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Systems Programmer at GSK for a lengthy period from 1993 to 2011, where they provided technical and project support for various client teams and had expertise in the Manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning System. John also worked as a Consulting Systems Programmer at both The Underwood Group and Burroughs Wellcome from 1993 to 1997, supporting the IBM MVS/ESA system and providing systems programming support.

Before that, they were a Sr. Systems Programmer at CSC CompuSource from 1987 to 1993, where they supported multiple MVS/SP and MVS/XA systems for outsourced clients and was responsible for the installation and maintenance of CICS/VS, VTAM, and NCP instances. From 1984 to 1987, they worked as a Software Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems, providing systems programming support for VTAM, NCP, and NCCF instances.
