Martin McGibney

Martin McGibney has had extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technical advisory. Martin started their career in 1996 at MITRE, where they held various roles including Information Security Systems Engineer, Lead Information Security Systems Engineer, and Systems Engineer. In these positions, Martin translated user needs into requirements, evaluated alternatives, and developed architectures and designs. Martin also served as a Technical Advisor from 2014 to 2020. In 2020, Martin joined OBXtek as a Senior System Engineer.

Martin McGibney earned a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from Webster University from 2005 to 2007. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, which they completed between 1992 and 1997.
