Alex Sollberger

Alex Sollberger is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles. With a career beginning at EAO AG as a Konstrukteur from August 2002 to August 2006, Alex progressed to positions such as Wissenschaftlicher Assistent at the Institut für mechatronische Systeme from March 2009 to May 2010, and Entwicklungsingenieur at Helveting AG from October 2010 to July 2011. Following these roles, Alex served as a Maschinenbauingenieur at Sulzer from August 2011 to June 2014, before taking on the position of Team Leader Mechanical Engineering at Oerlikon Metco in June 2014, a role held to the present. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Maschinenbau from Berner Fachhochschule BFH, completed in August 2010, and a Konstrukteur mit berufsbegleitender technischen Maturität from Gewerblich Industrielle Berufsschule Solothurn, completed in August 2006.
