Leandro Bettoni Ortega is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management within the metallurgical and coating industry. Currently serving as Project Manager of the Customer Solution Center at Oerlikon since March 2017, Leandro has successfully collaborated with Sales and Operations to introduce innovative coating technologies and ensure customer satisfaction through technical solutions. Previously, in roles such as Application Engineering Manager and Quality Supervisor, Leandro demonstrated leadership in process implementation and quality management across multiple sectors. Leandro's engineering background includes significant contributions at renowned companies like Cummins Inc. and MWM International where responsibilities ranged from laboratory management to the development of quality indicators and metallurgical analysis. Educated at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Leandro has a track record of enhancing product quality and operational effectiveness while facilitating continuous improvement initiatives throughout various stages of engineering processes.
