Mary Anne Foo

Mary Anne Foo is the Founder and Executive Director of the Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA), a position held since July 1997, which offers services to over 80,000 community members annually across various sectors including health, workforce development, and education, managing an annual budget of approximately $18 million with a diverse staff. Mary Anne served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of California, Irvine from March 2002 to June 2007, teaching courses focused on community health issues impacting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Previous roles include Program Development Specialist at CalOptima, Program Manager at St. Mary Medical Center, Health Education Consultant II at Asian Pacific Health Care Venture, Inc., Health Education Associate at the Orange County Health Care Agency, and Program Assistant II at the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations. Mary Anne holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
