Fred Forthuber

Fred Forthuber is President of Oxy Energy Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Occidental. In this role, he has global functional responsibility for midstream and marketing of crude oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas.

With more than 30 years of industry experience in oil and gas operations, Mr. Forthuber joined Occidental with the acquisition of Altura Energy in 2000, and has held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and project management. Most recently, he served as Vice President Worldwide Operations, Occidental Oil and Gas. Prior to joining Occidental, Mr. Forthuber served in engineering roles for Altura Energy and Exxon.

Mr. Forthuber holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and an Executive Scholar Certificate in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.​
