Kiera Morrill

Kiera Morrill is a Fisheries Social Scientist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association at Ocean Associates, Inc., since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Geospatial Analyst at Geo Owl and as an intern at Dakshin Foundation, where work focused on the social dimensions of marine resource management. Academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maine, focusing on Maine lobster fisheries resilience. Kiera also has significant experience in environmental education and outreach, including volunteering with the Peace Corps in Panama and leading programs for the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange. Kiera holds a Master of Science in Marine Policy from the University of Maine and a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Iowa.
