Kathleen Moran, MS, ATC, LAT has a diverse work experience in the field of athletic training. Kathleen has served as the Head Certified Athletic Trainer for the Ocean City School District since 2021, overseeing the care of athletes in various sports. Prior to this, they held the same position at Ocean City High School from 2013 to 2021, where they were contracted by Rothman Institute. Kathleen also worked as a Head Certified Athletic Trainer for Sacred Heart High School from 2011 to 2013, under a contract with NovaCare Rehabilitation. Additionally, they have experience as a Teaching Assistant at Temple University, where they were responsible for evaluating students' performances, leading discussions, and instructing aerobic exercise routines.
Kathleen (Kickish) Moran, MS, ATC, LAT, obtained their Bachelor's of science degree in Athletic Training from The George Washington University in 2009. Kathleen then went on to earn a Master's of science degree in Psychology of Movement from Temple University from 2009 to 2011.
In addition to their education, Kathleen has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they became a Board Of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification. Kathleen also obtained their New Jersey Licensed Athletic Trainer certification from the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General Division of Consumer Affairs in December 2010, and their Pennsylvania Licensed Athletic Trainer certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs in August 2011.
In 2014, Kathleen gained the title of Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor through the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
Kathleen also holds certifications as a CPR and AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers Certified from the American Red Cross, a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a National Provider Identifier Number from the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System.
