Meg McCarthy-Klein, MS, RDN, CDCES, has extensive experience in public health nutrition, currently serving as a Clinical Nutritionist at the Ocean County Health Department since October 2000, where notable achievements include the creation of an ADCES Diabetes Self Management program and the development of a CDC National Diabetes Prevention Program. As Coordinator of the WIC Program, Meg directs a federally-funded nutrition program, managing a team of 40 employees and overseeing nutrition education initiatives. In prior roles, Meg served as a Public Health Nutritionist, where responsibilities included supervising nutrition staff and conducting HIV/nutrition clinics. Additionally, Meg has experience in academia as an Adjunct Professor at Monmouth University, teaching a Human Nutrition course. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics/Foods and Nutrition from Saint Elizabeth University.
