Mohamed Sibly has a diverse work experience that includes roles in operations and engineering. Mohamed Sibly. started their career as an Assistant Production Engineer at Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd in 2008, where they were responsible for planning and monitoring production processes. Mohamed Sibly. then moved to Almuftah Fibreglass Products in 2012 as a QA/QC Engineer, where they focused on maintaining quality objectives, monitoring raw materials, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to customers. In 2017, they returned to Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd as the Divisional Head of Operations. Overall, Mohamed Sibly has proven expertise in production, quality control, and operations management.
Mohamed Sibly's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Textile Process Engineering, which they obtained from the University of Moratuwa between 2004 and 2008. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Open University of Sri Lanka, completing their studies between 2006 and 2011.
In terms of additional certifications, Sibly became an Attorney-at-Law after receiving training from the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in August 2016. Prior to that, in April 2015, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In August 2011, they also completed the Lead Auditor Training on ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems, offered by IRCA.
