Jeff Harcq

Jeff Harcq has a diverse and substantial work experience in the maritime industry. Jeff started their career as a Deck Cadet at Alaska Tanker Company in 2014. In 2015, they joined Alcatraz Cruises, LLC as a First Officer and served in that role until December 2019. During this time, they also worked as a Licensed Watch Officer/Third Mate at Training Ship Golden Bear from April 2016 to June 2016. In 2016, Jeff Harcq joined Ocean Shipholdings Inc., where they held various roles including Third Mate and Safety Officer until December 2019. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Mate at Ocean Shipholdings Inc. since August 2021. Additionally, Jeff Harcq attended the California Maritime Academy from September 2012 to August 2021, where they started as a student and successfully completed their academic program.

Jeff Harcq attended California State University Maritime Academy from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marine Transportation. During their time at the university, they focused on the field of study of Navigation. In August 2021, Jeff obtained the certification of Chief Mates Unlimited Tonnage with Tankerman PIC (DL) from the U.S. Coast Guard.
