James Wyeth

James Wyeth has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. James is currently working as a Hardware Design Engineer at OceanComm, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at John Deere as an Embedded Software Engineer from April 2020 to June 2021. James also served as an Electrical Engineer at John Deere Des Moines Works from July 2019 to March 2020. James was the President of Illini Solar Car from July 2018 to May 2019, and during that time, they also worked as an Electrical Engineer. James gained further experience through internships at John Deere Electronic Solutions and John Deere, where they worked as a Product Engineering Intern. In their earlier years, James worked as an Intern at Marcus Engineering, LLC and held various positions at Bit Buckets Robotics, where they contributed to designing drivetrains and safety animations.

James Wyeth attended BASIS Tucson from 2012 to 2013, and then transferred to BASIS Tucson North, where they completed their secondary education from 2013 to 2016. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2016 to 2019.
