Anthony Giordano, III has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Anthony most recently worked at OceanFirst Bank, where they held the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief of Bank Operations since January 2020, and previously worked as a Senior Vice President and Senior Operations Officer from July 2015 to January 2020.
Before joining OceanFirst Bank, Giordano served as the President and CEO of Colonial American Bank from April 2011 to July 2015. Prior to that, they held the position of SEVP and CFO at Central Jersey Bank, N.A. from May 1998 to November 2010.
In addition to their banking career, Giordano also had public service experience, having served as a Councilman for the City of Long Branch from 1994 to 2010.
Giordano began their professional career in the finance sector, working at PNC Bank from 1994 to 1998 and Shadow Lawn Savings Bank from 1988 to 1994.
Anthony is an alum of Kean University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987.
Anthony Giordano, III has a diverse education history spanning various fields of study. In 1983, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from Kean University. Anthony then went on to pursue a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting at Monmouth University from 1989 to 1992. In 1998, they attended Monmouth University once again, this time to complete the Real Estate Institute Graduate program, where they acquired knowledge in the field of Real Estate. In 2011, Anthony Giordano, III engaged in the Certification in Leadership and Management program at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, specifically within the Department of Accountancy.
