Liang Yu has had a diverse range of roles in the field of supply chain planning and optimization. Their most recent position was as the Head of Supply Chain Planning at Oceania International, where they oversaw various aspects of demand planning, purchase planning, replenishment planning, and inventory management. Prior to this, Liang worked as a Senior Supply Chain Solution Architect at Alibaba Group and as a Senior Manager and Solver Team Manager at Lumileds. In these roles, they focused on implementing optimization systems and enhancing supply chain planning processes. Liang also has experience as an Optimization Consultant at IBM, where they led optimization projects in planning and scheduling.
Liang Yu started their education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2003 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Logistic Management in 2007. Liang then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in the same field from 2007 to 2010. In 2009, Liang Yu briefly attended The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology for Industrial Engineering and Logistic Management, although they did not earn a degree from there. Additionally, Liang Yu has obtained professional certifications including PMP from PMI in November 2015 and CPIM from APICS in November 2014.
