Catherine Hanna has been working in the engineering field since 2010. Catherine began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cornell University's Department of Materials Science & Engineering. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering. Catherine also interned at Panigram Resort and AguaClara that same year. In 2010, they were an Extern at Kushner Studios. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Architecture. In 2014, they joined BlueShore Engineering LLC as a Jr Engineer, where they managed roughly fifteen (15) active projects at any given time. In 2020, they began working as a Civil Engineer at Oceanit.
Catherine Hanna obtained their High School Diploma from John B Connally High School in 2007. Catherine then went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University in 2011. Catherine also obtained their Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification from NCEES in August 2011. In 2012, they earned their Master's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Catherine has also obtained OSHA Asbestos Awareness Training from the US Department of Labor OSHA in July 2021, OSHA 10-Hour Training from the US Department of Labor OSHA in May 2015, and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED from the American Heart Association in August 2021.
