Michael Petter

Michael Petter has worked in the software engineering field since 2001. Michael began their career at Centrics Technology, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they managed requirements, developed new features, created builds and deployments, and resolved support issues for a tiered multi-step retail transaction processing system implemented in C++ and VB6 with DCOM. In 2003, they moved to Demand Management, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect, where they worked with a VP-led technology team to design, architect, estimate, and implement the next generation of the company's product platform. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at CPI Corp. as a Consultant/Senior Software Engineer, developing customer-facing e-commerce sites and integrating them with the LinkPoint gateway. In 2011, they began working at Asynchrony as a Software Developer, collaborating in St. Louis's top pair-programming Agile environment. That same year, they began working at TriZetto Provider Solutions as a Technical Team Lead/Scrum Master, leading Agile R&D teams that developed enterprise MVC-based web applications and integration services. From 2013 to 2022, they worked at World Wide Technology as a Senior Software Engineer, building web applications and cloud-based network configuration and monitoring tool suites. Currently, they are a Staff Software Engineer at Ocelot Consulting.

Michael Petter attended Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
