Vickie Downing-Boyd serves as an Infection Preventionist and Employee Health Nurse at OCOM Hospital since December 2022. Vickie is also the Owner/Operator of B4 Ranch & Meats and Co-Owner of B4Cattle Company, which specializes in breeding registered Texas Longhorns. From January 2003 to November 2017, Vickie held various roles at Mercy, including Quality, Infection Preventionist & Compliance Manager, and Quality Officer, overseeing multiple regional facilities in Oklahoma. Vickie began developing the Case Management Program at Mercy, significantly increasing Swing-Bed patient days during the first year. Vickie's educational background includes an Associate of Science in Nursing from Excelsior University and a Licensed Vocational Nurse degree from Amarillo College.
