Emily Dickens

Emily Dickens has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product development and energy technology. Emily started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University, where they conducted research on flow batteries and electrolyte solutions. Emily then worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Adolphe Merkle Institute in Switzerland, focusing on improving lithium-sulfur batteries. Emily also gained experience as an Intern at the Division of Engineering Leadership and Professional Practice at CWRU, where they marketed and sold job opportunities to prospective employers. Emily then joined the Great Lakes Energy Institute as a Think Energy Fellow, leading a group project focused on creating an electric vehicle charging business model. Emily also worked at Current, powered by GE as a Sourcing Technical Co-op, managing suppliers and contributing to new product introduction projects. Their most recent role is with Octet Scientific, Inc., where they initially served as a Product Development Lead, involved in the creation of specialty chemicals for the energy storage industry. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Octet Scientific, responsible for strategic commercial initiatives.
