Karel Kuzmiak

Karel Kuzmiak is a Senior Data Engineer at Octopus Energy since April 2024, focusing on developing data engineering skills in the JP office to support APAC-wide projects. Prior to this, Karel held the position of Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer at Moneytree from August 2022 to April 2024 and worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft and Wood Mackenzie between August 2021 and July 2021, developing data orchestration platforms. Karel's experience also includes a role at Skyscanner, where responsibilities included data modeling and building batch pipelines. Karel's educational background features a Master’s degree in Games Development from Abertay University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh.
