Karen-Leigh Edwards

Karen-Leigh Edwards joined Ocular Therapeutix in September 2021. Her career expertise includes senior global leadership roles in Product Development, Manufacturing & Operations and Business Development. Karen-Leigh is well-positioned to translate corporate vision into executable strategies to deliver marketable products and transform lives. Prior to Ocular, Karen-Leigh held a variety of positions at Alexion, Biogen and International Partnership for Microbicides.

She holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Karen-Leigh also earned a BSc degree in Chemistry from the University of the West Indies and an MSc degree in Chemistry from the University of London.
