Aditya Patra

Aditya Patra has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at Oculii™ (An Ambarella Technology) since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from March 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Oculii™, Aditya worked in various positions at the Mechanical and Artificial Intelligence Lab, Carnegie Mellon University. Aditya was a Student Researcher from August 2020 to February 2021 and also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Machine Learning and AI from August to December 2020. During their time as a Graduate Research Assistant from May to August 2020, they worked on deep learning-based physiological signal detections and modifications in human face videos.

Aditya also gained industry experience through internships. Aditya worked as a Summer Intern at ITC Limited in 2018 and as a Winter Intern at the same company in 2017. In 2017, they also served as a Summer Intern at Honda Cars India Ltd.

Throughout their career, Aditya has demonstrated their expertise in software engineering, deep learning, and AI through their various roles and projects.

Aditya Patra completed their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Robotics & Controls, at Carnegie Mellon University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Aditya completed their 12th grade education in Science at SAI International School from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they studied Science at Don Bosco School, Bandel from 2011 to 2013, although the specific degree attained during this period is not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Aditya has also obtained certifications in machine learning algorithms and improving deep neural networks. Both certifications were obtained from Coursera, but the specific months and years of completion are not provided.
