Gudrun Bachmann

Gudrun Bachmann's work experience includes roles in various pharmaceutical companies. Gudrun is currently the SVP, Global Head of CMC at Oculis S.A. starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Fresenius Kabi from 2018 to 2022, where they held the positions of Senior Director, Global Head of CMC Leads and Director, Head of CMC Program Leads. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Alvotech as the Director of Drug Product Biopharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing and later as the Head of Drug Product Biopharmaceutical Development. Bachmann also had various roles during the start-up phase at Alvotech. Their earlier experience includes working at Sandoz from 2011 to 2014, where they held the positions of Lab Head a.i. Late Stage Biopharmaceutical Development and Scientist Late Stage Biopharmaceutical Development.

Gudrun Bachmann obtained their Ph.D. in Structural Biology & Biochemistry from The Institute of Cancer Research, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued their M.Sc. in Biotechnology Engineering at Aalborg University from 2002 to 2007.
